The Garland XPE24-1L XPress clam shell griddle’s dual-side grilling cycle places burgers, pancakes, omelets, or other food products between two plates to hasten cooking. Its left-mounted top platen is lowered and raised by a quiet lift system that adjusts automatically to facilitate product. A ³/₄-inch carbon steel bottom plate provides heating and recovery times superior to thicker plates and doesn’t hold heat as effectively.

This Garland XPE24-1L commercial press griddle’s splash guards contain meat juice, batter, and other food residue to keep it from leaking into the surroundings. Side-mounted grease pans catch and collect this residue. With a stainless steel top, sides, and front, the griddle withstands dents and scrapes dealt by busy restaurant kitchens. Programmable controls improve temperature uniformity and enables different heat zones to be set.
