For flexibility, it has a 22-pound capacity; features piece-count, unit, and tare functions; and can be recalibrated to ensure it’s providing precise weights. After 3 minutes of inactivity, it automatically shuts off to conserve battery life. When this scale isn’t in use, its 6-inch by 6-inch stainless steel platform can be removed and used as a tray during ingredient prep. For a streamlined setup, three AAA batteries and an AC adapter are included.
