The Varimixer V5-S 5-quart mixer is operated with two rotary knobs-one on each side of the unit. Its speed can vary from 78 to 422 RPM, and it uses direct-drive transmission and a 0.4-horsepower motor that operates quietly. For smooth movement, it contains greased, anti-friction ball bearings, and the planetary head can consistently move around the bowl as it’s permanently lubricated. If a power outage occurs, its overload protection and no-voltage release prevents the machine from randomly powering back on.
