Description
Turbo Air TST-60SD-N-CL
To streamline sandwich and salad ingredient prep, the Turbo Air TST-60SD-N-CL prep refrigerator’s top section features a 91/2-inch-deep by 1/2-inch-thick high-density polyethylene cutting board and a 16-pan opening. The pan area includes 16 sixth-size, 4-inch-deep condiment pans that accommodate sliced vegetables, meats, and cheeses, and when these pans aren’t in use, the corresponding lid can be placed over the opening with a clear design that provides a full view of the pans’ inventory. The refrigerated base is divided into two sections, both of which include a 27-inch-wide by 17-inch-deep stainless steel wire shelf and are illuminated by LED lighting. The two swing-out doors let users access a specific section, and when a door is opened, the fan control automatically shuts off the fan to prevent drawing in hot air that could affect the interior temperature.
Employees can set this unit’s temperature between 33 and 39 degrees Fahrenheit, and to ensure the table is holding foods at safe temperatures, the external digital temperature display provides a bold readout. The cold bunker system uses a forced-air mechanism to direct cool air in front of, behind, and beneath the food pans to create a cold air shield maintaining temperatures lower than 41 degrees Fahrenheit. Because the cabinet and doors are foamed in place with high-density polyurethane insulation, it retains the produced temperatures in various ambient settings to minimize energy loss. This unit features a self-contained refrigeration system that operates with R-290 hydrocarbon refrigerant and includes a self-cleaning condenser and corrosion-resistant evaporator to prolong service life.
For durability, the Turbo Air TST-60SD-N-CL sandwich and salad prep table’s interior and exterior are stainless steel, while the exterior top and bottom are galvanized steel. These resilient metals resist rust and corrosion to preserve their original appearance throughout high-volume use, and they’re simple to wipe clean. Ideal for back-of-house settings, it measures 601/4 inches wide by 311/4 inches deep by 421/8 inches high and is fitted with 4-inch-diameter swivel casters.
