To prevent the evaporator coil from frosting, an automatic defrost cycle runs at a set time and stops when a certain temperature is reached.

To keep temperatures cold, this True STG2FRI-2S freezer’s walls are foamed with polyurethane insulation. Its exterior sides are aluminum to match the doors. Its interior ceiling and floor are made of stainless steel to resist corrosion and its interior back and walls are made of aluminum to resist dents and scratches. It has one heavy-gauge stainless steel ramp to help roll carts and racks inside, and bumper guards protect the interior walls from damage.
