The Hatco C-18 compact booster water heater holds six gallons at the required sanitizing temperature of 180 degrees Fahrenheit. This unit can be kept close to the dishwasher using either the slide mounting brackets or the 6-inch legs. For quick access to elements and probes, the control fuses are located behind the swing-away stainless steel front panel. The tank is lined with Castone to prevent the buildup of limestone and rust, and the exterior is powder-coated steel with a hammertone finish.

Controlled with an on/off switch and a calibrated immersion thermostat, the Hatco C-18 compact booster water heater includes a temperature and pressure relief valve and a pressure-reducing valve. Ensuring the unit is safe to use, a low-water cut-off and a high-temperature limit control help prevent burnout and overheating. Fiberglass insulation ensures that heat is not lost from the tank for efficiency.
