Description
The newly re-designed FloJet Model BW5000 Bottled Water Dispensing System PLUS is designed to pump water from commercially available 3, 5, or 6 gallon water bottles. The system delivers the bottled water under pressure to a sink mounted drinking water faucet, or to the water inlet of a refrigerator, icemaker, coffee brewer, or Jupiter Water Ionizer.
The suction wand, when inserted into the water bottle, activates the float switch on the pump. This float switch also shuts off the system when the bottle is empty. The wand has a built in back-flow valve to prevent water from flowing back into the bottle.

A while back we had a leak so I replaced my water line to the ceiling on the first floor. This device allowed me to get bottle water to my refrigerator, now we have water and ice from the refrigerator door. This saved me time and money and the water taste better and it works great.

Having a well these days presents water issuses with modern kitchens. I live in northern Indiana (thank god) and the well water is as hard as iron. My softner does well for the hardness. The taste of my water has alot to desire. So, like so many others I truck in five gallon bottles of filtered water from the local Kroger refill station. I bought a new fridge this nov. with a ice maker. Fact, these i m use a timer to fill the ice tray and gravity fed water will not fill the i m to capacity. A pressure of about 40 to 55 psi must be supplied. Those, a purchase of a water pump is a must.
My review of the Flojet Bw5000 at this time is all positive at this time, it works and installment is simple. The bottle boot for a 5 gallon plastic bottle fits over two styles I have. Note, I wish I would of bought the two bottle hook up now. I had the room and now see the advantage, I am single and my water use is low, about 5 gallons a week with small dog.
The mounting of the pump was to a wall. The pump has rubber dampners and the noise level is brief and not that bad. Water line hook ups are easey and no special tools are needed. The tubing is long at 20 ft. Just lick the lines before connecting to help things along. The line to the bottle is much shorter and will determ where you place your pump. The 110 electric line is so low in power usage that extra cord can be used safely.
I placed no filter in my line to the fridge. My water is prefilted and the frige has no filter. This aviods air pockets that can affect i m timing and causes low or little cubes.

Note, the fittings for extra hookups from the pump for coffee maker or faucet can be found at any hardware shop.

I purchased this unit to plumb directly to my refrigerator to make ice and provide water at the dispenser.
Item works very well, a little noisy at first but has gotten quieter.
I have worked with these pumps in the past, so I knew they can very in the level of noise that they make.
Overall, I am pleased with my purchase and this seller got the item shipped to me right away.

We had to replace our garage fridge and ended up with one that had a nice icemaker with ice and water in the door. The garage isn’t plumbed for an ice maker, but it seemed like a waste to not utilize that ice make to have some back up ice ready to go. After a quick search, I found this product. The product is well-packaged and the components seem well-made and surprisingly heavy-duty. Went together in a snap (honestly took about 10-15 min from opening the box to watching it fill the ice maker the first time). I typically dislike plumbing projects but these fittings are nearly fool-proof and worked, leak free, the first time. We’ve had it for about a week and a half now and the ice maker is full and the water out of the door is cold and refreshing (great for when we come back from a bike ride or have been working in the yard). Of course, I cannot comment on longevity but the set up and initial functionality has exceeded my expectations at this point.

Great product, was very easy to install. I would recommend this to anyone looking to use bottled water for their refrigerator with an ice-maker.
We ordered a refrigerator that has a built in ice maker and I was all set to rig something up to feed bottled water. I googled to see what other people had done to accomplish this and found a video on youtube showing this product. It couldn’t be that easy. But it was. It only took me 10 minutes to hook this up. Everything I needed was included. I ordered the extra line and shut-off valve as recommended when I went to check out but I didn’t need it. I can’t even describe how happy I am this worked out so well. I never thought we would have an operating ice maker so easily.
