The Equipex PANINI XL Sodir panini grill has a durable stainless steel construction that is simple to keep clean. The top and bottom grill plates are made of cast iron for even heat distribution and they are grooved to produce grill marks on sandwiches. The powerful heating elements enable rapid grilling and the unit is controlled thermostatically up to 570 degrees Fahrenheit. To accommodate different sandwich thicknesses, the spring counter-balanced top is adjustable. A two-position, front drip tray contains grease drippings and a scraper is included to clean debris off the plates. Utensils can be housed in the stainless steel utensil shelves on the side, which can be removed if they are not needed.
