The Dean SR14E electric fryer has tubular elements that run through the fry vat, which is ideal for battered items such as fried chicken and breaded foods such as fish and french fries. Its wide frypot, with a 13.75-inch-by-13.75-inch area, accommodates two included twin baskets. To ensure frying is convenient and the product is crispy instead of dripping with oil, this fryer includes an integral basket hanger mounted on the stainless steel backsplash, enabling users to drain excess oil before serving. It also includes a fryer basket support rack, which holds those baskets above the heating elements to ensure even cooking.

The durable temperature probe, which juts into the oil but out of the way of cooking, is calibrated to ensure set temperatures are maintained. It does this by rapidly firing up the burners when it detects a change in the load, helping the unit quickly return to proper temperatures when food is added. When the Dean SR14E electric fryer is at the right temperature it will not overcook food or create soggy food. This 3-phase unit ships with a cord, though no plug is provided, so a licensed electrician will need to prepare the unit for operation.
